And recently, Pinkfong’s “Baby Shark Dance”, fresh off, became the first video to surpass 10 billion views. “Baby Shark Dance” was widely popularised thanks to a version of the song produced by Pinkfong, an educational brand owned by Korean entertainment company SmartStudy. The most viewed YouTube video, “Baby Shark Dance”, was uploaded on June 17, 2016, and went viral starting in 2017. Four years after the upload, on November 2, 2020, it surpassed Luis Fonsi’s Despacito by 7.04 billion times, making it the most watched YouTube video in history. On December 21, 2020, it became the first YouTube video to exceed 7.5 billion views, later surpassed the 10 billion mark and became the most viewed YouTube video of all time.

Along with Puerto Rican artists Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee, Despacito hit YouTube in January 2017 and hit over a billion views in just 97 days – the second-fastest achievement ever. The video became the fastest video to reach 2 billion views and the first to reach the top 4 billion, 5 billion, 6 billion and now 7 billion views.

It’s a simple song about a kid trying to eat some sugar (literally a cube of sugar) despite his dad apparently disapproving of it. Does that child get to eat that sugar cube? You have to look for it to find out. The song itself isn’t annoying either. It’s so simple and short it’s annoying. That’s a good thing considering it’s among the most watched YouTube videos viewed/listed over 6 billion times.

Another most viewed music video on YouTube is none other than “Shape Of You”. Well, this song deserves to be in the 15 Most Watched YouTube Videos of all time. Shape of you” (2017) is one of the most popular songs to date, ranking 9th on Billboard’s Hot 100 rankings. It also became the most streamed song on Spotify in 10 years in 2010.
Whether you’ve seen it or not, it’s undeniable that Shape of You is one of the most watched YouTube videos ever. It holds the record as the third fastest video with 1 billion views and the second fastest video with 2 billion and 3 billion views. This is a fun 5-minute video that teaches young children about different colors using (roughly) animated eggs on the farm. The video itself is narrated in Russian, teaching children the names of different colors in Russian. The only part of the non-Russian video is the music (old McDonald’s had a farm in English) and the subtitles that appear (if enabled). The video is slow and some scenes are a bit long, but the funny and ridiculous moments appeal to younger viewers. Anyway, it is among the most viewed YouTube videos too.
